Welcome to my project for HS3004. My name is Mae Lynch, I am a final year BA student studying French and Spanish. For this project, I translated an article about International Women’s Day in Spain, and the social tension and political disagreement that surrounded it due to the global pandemic. I undertook this module to learn more about the world of translation. In doing this project, I have learnt a great deal more than I initially anticipated. I have sharpened my knowledge of the Spanish language and learnt how to complete a translation commentary.
